The Blue Lotus Experience 

RETREAT TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings for The Blue Lotus Experience, held at Mana Retreat, Coromandel from 27–29 November 2026.

By submitting your registration and making payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. BOOKING & PAYMENT

Your place at The Blue Lotus Experience is confirmed once we have received full payment for your selected accommodation option.

Accommodation is subject to availability and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

If payment has not been received within 48 hours of registration, we reserve the right to release your place and accommodation to another guest.

Please ensure you select the correct accommodation option and corresponding payment amount when registering.

2. EARLY BIRD & FINAL PRICING

Early Bird pricing is available until the advertised Early Bird closing date.

After this date, Final Pricing applies.

Your applicable price is determined by the date your full payment is received.

3. ACCOMMODATION

Shared rooms are twin-share rooms and are shared with one other guest.

Single rooms are very limited and subject to availability. Selecting a single room during registration does not guarantee the room until full payment has been received.

If your selected accommodation becomes unavailable before your payment is received, we will contact you to discuss the available options.

If you are attending with a friend or partner and would like to share a room, please provide their name when registering.

4. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

We understand that plans can change. Because we make commitments to the venue, catering, facilitators and suppliers based on confirmed bookings, the following cancellation policy applies.

30 days or more before the retreat
You may cancel your booking and receive a refund of your payment, less a $100 administration fee.

7–29 days before the retreat
You will receive a 50% refund of your booking payment.

Within 7 days of the retreat
Bookings are non-refundable.

5. WAITING LIST & RESALE OF PLACES

If you need to cancel your booking, we may be able to offer your place to someone on our waiting list.

If your place is successfully filled by another guest, we will refund the amount recovered, less the $100 administration fee.

We cannot guarantee that a cancelled place will be filled.

6. TRANSFERRING YOUR BOOKING

If you can no longer attend, you may request to transfer your booking to another person.

All transfers must be approved by Kiss The Earth before the retreat and the new guest must complete the required registration information.

Any difference in accommodation pricing will need to be paid or refunded as applicable.

7. RETREAT PROGRAMME

The retreat programme is designed to provide a balance of workshops, rituals, movement, meditation, nature, connection and personal time.

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the programme, schedule, activities or facilitators where necessary due to weather, venue requirements, facilitator availability or circumstances outside our control.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the overall experience and intention of the retreat.

8. MANA RETREAT GUIDELINES

Mana Retreat is a vegetarian, alcohol-free and drug-free environment.

Guests are expected to treat the land, venue, staff, facilitators and other guests with care and respect.

Mana's venue guidelines apply throughout your stay. These include restrictions around candles, incense, electronics in shared retreat spaces and the use of the Octagon.

Guests are responsible for following Mana's requirements during their stay.

9. HEALTH & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Blue Lotus Experience includes meditation, yoga, movement, sound, nature walks, sauna, bush bathing and other activities.

Guests are responsible for determining whether these activities are appropriate for them.

If you have a medical condition, are taking prescription medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have any concerns about participating in the retreat or using any products provided, we recommend consulting an appropriate healthcare professional before attending.

Kiss The Earth does not provide medical advice.

If you feel unwell or uncomfortable during an activity, please let a retreat facilitator know and take whatever rest or support you require.

10. PRODUCTS

Each guest will receive a Kiss The Earth Blue Lotus Product Pack valued at $500+, included in the retreat price.

Products are provided for personal use. Please read product information and ingredients carefully and use products according to their directions.

If you have allergies, sensitivities, take medication or have concerns about a particular product, please seek appropriate professional advice before use.

11. IF KISS THE EARTH CANCELS THE RETREAT

If Kiss The Earth needs to cancel the retreat, guests will receive a full refund of payments made to Kiss The Earth.

We are not responsible for additional travel, accommodation or other personal expenses incurred by guests.

We recommend arranging appropriate travel insurance, particularly if you are travelling from outside the Coromandel region.

12. PHOTOGRAPHY & CONTENT

Photography and video may take place during the retreat for Kiss The Earth's marketing, website and social media.

We will be respectful of guests' privacy and will provide an opportunity during registration for you to indicate if you do not wish to appear in promotional photography or video.

13. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the retreat. Kiss The Earth and Mana Retreat are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items, except where required by law.

14. ACCEPTANCE

By submitting your registration and making payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and understand the cancellation and refund policy.

These Terms & Conditions are subject to applicable New Zealand law and do not exclude or limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

Kiss The Earth respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide to us.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and how we use and protect it when you register for The Blue Lotus Experience or interact with Kiss The Earth.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you register for the retreat, we may collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Accommodation preference
• Room-sharing preferences
• Dietary requirements
• Emergency contact information
• Information you choose to provide about your retreat preferences or expectations
• Information relevant to your participation in the retreat, where necessary
• Payment and booking information

We only ask for information that is reasonably necessary to organise and provide the retreat.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We may use your information to:

• Process and manage your retreat booking
• Confirm your accommodation
• Communicate with you about the retreat
• Prepare for dietary and accessibility requirements
• Contact your emergency contact if necessary
• Provide important retreat information and updates
• Manage cancellations, transfers and waiting-list places
• Improve our retreat experience and services
• Send you Kiss The Earth marketing communications where you have consented to receive them

3. WHO WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH

We may share relevant information with trusted service providers where necessary to provide the retreat.

For example, we may provide relevant guest information to Mana Retreat Centre to arrange accommodation, meals and other venue requirements.

We may also share relevant information with retreat facilitators where necessary to organise their sessions or ensure the retreat runs safely and effectively.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

4. PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers or banks.

Kiss The Earth does not store your full banking or card details where these are processed securely by the relevant payment provider.

Those providers may have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your information.

5. GOOGLE FORMS & GOOGLE SHEETS

Retreat registrations may be collected through Google Forms and stored in Google Sheets.

Information collected through these services is used to manage retreat registrations, accommodation and guest requirements.

6. MARKETING

If you have opted in to receive marketing communications from Kiss The Earth, we may use your email address to send you information about our products, events, retreats and other offerings.

You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in our emails.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO

Photography and video may be taken during the retreat.

Where images or video are intended for promotional use, we will provide an opportunity for you to indicate your preferences regarding marketing photography and video during registration.

8. KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION SECURE

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration.

However, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including meeting our legal, accounting and business obligations.

10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Under New Zealand privacy law, you may have rights to access and request correction of personal information we hold about you.
